The paper presents a clinical observation of hyperparathyroidism caused by an adenoma, and the operatory difficulties in its treatment are analyzed. The anatomical, pathological and surgical bases which are the pillars of the surgical tactics in the treatment of hyperthyroidism, are analyzed.
