The importance of research in surgery.

El registro de casos clínicos, imágenes radiológicas, fotos y videos es una práctica habitual entre los cirujanos y forma parte de nuestra cultura quirúrgica. Este tipo de archivos es parte de nuestra experiencia de vida como cirujanos y se vincula con nuestro espíritu crítico, poder de observación y se vincula con análisis de los procedimientos que realizamos. Este proceso primario de investigación clínica hoy resulta insuficiente para la resolución de problemas y obtener una práctica quirúrgica de calidad.
