Abstract

Incidental pathology in 4000 operations on the biliar viae is
analysed, finding it is present in 10.3%. The majority
corresponded to hepatic disease (30.5%), followed by
gynecological (21%), parietal (14.4%), colorrectal and
digestive neplasms (12% each), gastroduodenal (6%), and
various pathologies (6%). In arder to so/ve the technical
problem they represent, conduct outlines to be followed for
each of the findings of incidental pathology are discussed,
and medico-legal problems are established.
