Value of anisokaryosis in the cytogram of the thyroid nodule, as a presumptive sign of cancer

The diagnostica/ value of anisocariosis far thyroid cancer is
analysed in a series of 1 77 operated patients with definitive
anatomo--pathological study. lt is concluded that this
cytological alteration is more frequent in benign nodu/es
than in cancer. with a positive predictive value of 31.8%.
