Penetrating abdominal wound, with rare entry hole

A penetrating m¡ury of abdomen by an iron spindle with entrance orífice in the high part of the posterior side of the thigh is observed. The vascular and visceral lesions caused by the spindle are described. The possible trajectory of the spindle untill its introduction in the abdomen is ventured, and the extreme rareness of the entrance hole is pointed out.
