Abstract

A case of submucosal gastric lipoma is presented, treated by means of local resection.
The available bibliography is reviewed: it is a rare and benign condition.
Clinical diagnostic problems are outlined. Diagnosis is possible only by means of roentgenologic studies. The use of gastroscopy: with fibroscope is discussed.
