Abstract

Technical advances have made available to us
a wide variety of diagnostic procedures.
Choosing the right procedure
for each case depends largely on availability
of them and the preferences of
each center or working group. However, it is
important to develop a systematic approach to
optimize the use of diagnostic facilities and
strike a balance between the goal of a diagnosis
exact preoperative and study abuse
that are often invasive, expensive and not
provide useful data.
We will first do a brief review of
the most common methods to later expose the
position of our working group.
