Abstract

Revascu/arization of foot arteries was carried out in 20
patients, most of them diabetic, who presented foot
ischemia, with trophic lesions in 90% andlor pain during
rest in 60%. Ali of them had femoral pulse, 40% had
popliteal pulse, none had posterior tibia/ or dorsal of foot
one. The severity of hemodynamic disturbances was
evaluated by means of Doppler and Photopletismography.
Al/ patients presented leg axis occlusion. There were 80%
favorable results with foot preservation and inmediate
perambulation. There was only one occlusion in evolutive
controls that range from 1 to 36 months. 5 patients have
died due to heart factors.
