considerations about the frequency of omphalocele
and the malformations that can be associated with it,
mainly cardiac and digestiva. They point out the low In•
cldence of teratoma and lts most common location
(50% at sacrococcygeal level). Authors siso emphasize
the importance of early resection of teratomas because
of the probability of their becomlng mallgnant.
