Abstract

Two. cases of pleural mesothelioma are reported and a review of the literature in the subject is do·ne. They point out the increasing incidence of this tumors,
the variability of the clinical features and the value of thoracotomy or biopsical punction for the diagnosis. Surgical treatment should be compl'emented by extern
roengenterapy and chemoterapy in case of partial resections.
