Abstract

The isolated gastric rupture in abdominal closed injuries is exceptional. It is favoured. by gastric repletion and flaccidity of the abdominal wall. The authors report 2 cases in 5 and 10 year-old children: a perforation of the anterior wall of the stomach, close to the lesser curvature and the other, a double perforation of the posterior slope of the greater curvature.
Both of them were solved by simple closing and the post-operative evolution was satisfactory.
