Intestinal strangulation
some clinical and radiological aspects

The paper refers to sone dinical and radiological aspects of intestinal strangulation. Clinically: l ) intensity of pain; 2) antalgic flexure posture in sone interna} herniation; 3) existence of tense, painful tumefaction which corresponds to the strangled loops. Radiologically: 1) opacity zones which correspond to strangled loops, with an advanced degree of suffering; 2) aerojejunia, without hydroaerial levels in those situations which most áffect the vitality of the loop; 3) the existence of residual gas in the colon. Radiological and clinical studies may lead to an early and efficient diagnosis of this serious disease.
