Abstract

The paper describes surgical activity in the
Emergency Unit of Po/ice Hospital, considered
through an experience involving Residents. This
paper is targeted at analyzing the training of Residents
in general surgery at the Po/ice Hospital such
as provided therein, by quantifying and qualifyng
the surgical procedures carried out by surgical trainees,
taking ínto account their number, degree of
complexíty and tutoríng ínvolved.
