Subclavian venous occlusion in hemodialysis patients

The percutaneous puncture of the sube/avían veín
far transíent hemodíalysís provokes a hígh
frequency of proximal venous obstructíon whích
ínterferes wíth the subsequent realízatíon of an
angíoaccess in that upper límb. 8 cases of
sube/avían occ/usíon are presented: 5 of them
were ídentífíed in asymptomatíc patíents by means
of pre-operatíve phlebography and venous Duplex.
