Effect on regeneration of the vascular intima layer calcium heparin and enoxaparin

An experimental study was carried out in dogs in arder to
compare the effect of calcium heparine and enoxaparine
over the development of intima/ hyperplasia. A model of
intima! hyperplasia developed by the Basic Department
of Surgery was employed. When comparing the different
series to the control group no significan/ differences in
the development of intima! hyperplasia could be found;
therefore no inhibiting effect over /he development of
intima! hyperplasia could be demonstrated far any of the
drugs
