Abstract

A case of "dorsi" elastofibroma is presented with its
classical subescapular topography The morphology of
the lesion is analyzed from the anatomopathological point
of view and possible differentia/ diagnoses are discussed.
The treatment of these lesions, which consists of surgical
resection of these lesion is pointed out, emphasizing that
in this topography total exeresis of the lesion is often
difficult because of its intimate connection to periostium.
lt is a/so pointed out that those lesions do not have a
tendency to relapse, even in those cases where exeresis
was incomplete and its course complete/y benign.
