Intussusception caused by colonic polyposis with transformation adenomatous

A patient with mu/tiple juvenile polyposis involving
ileocecoco/ic invagination, is reported. Histologic
examination evínced the coexistance of young and
adenoma taus polyps. A revision is undertaken of the
trequency with which this condition gives rise to surgical
complications, stress being laid on the importance of the
histologic examination of juvenile polyposis due to the
Jikelihood of association with adenomatous lesions.
