Comparative study of the effectiveness of two supraselective vagotomy techniques
Experimental work

vagotomyAbstract
Comparison of the effectiveness of two supra selective vagotomy techniques -the traditional procedure and anterior seromyotomy with posterior truncal vagotomy (Taylor's variation)- in the performance of a complete proximal gastric denervation.
The experience is made on 35 dogs and evaluated by the Red Congo test. Authors have found that in contrast with traditional supra selective vagotomy, Taylor's variation has been effective in ali cases studied, and also quicker and more easily performed.
