Se comenta la acción carcionogenética de las radiaciones, en especial el riesgo de cáncer mamario luego de la exposición excesiva a las radiaciones. Se presentan 4 casos clínicos de carcinogénesis mamaria radiante haciendo las consideraciones patogénicas para cada caso. Los tumores mamarios aparecen en periodos variables luego de la irradiación glandular, obligando a meditar las indicaciones de la radioterapia, sobre todo en las patologías benignas, que pueden ser tratadas con otros recursos de menor riesgo para el paciente.
