Abstract

Amebomas are inflammatory tumors with bacteriologic specificity and are found in 1 % of amebiasic patients. Our two patients developed occlusion. Differential diagnosis with cancer is difficult, so when in doubt the tumor should be resected.
This sould be followed by complementary medical treatment.
