Conservative surgery of the uterus

Abstract

The author reviews indications and techniques for·: 1) Maintaining the organ's functions during surgery; 2) Treating disease affecting said functions. Special emphasis is laid on preservation of generating function are specified. The work analyzes systematically tumoral, infectious, traumatic and congenital causes located in the body and cervix of uterus, as well as their treatment both during and in absence of pregnancy. The author's experience on the subject is presented. with special attention on aspects which have heretocore
not been presented in national congresses. The subjects considered are: uterine synechia. congenital malformations and cervical incompetence.
