Abstract

The paper presents preliminary research on three generations of a family group with the Peutz-Jeghers syndrome. The cases observed are analyzed and the high morbility
of occlusive complications is stessed. The authors propose the theoretical basis of Nob!e's operation as applied to this disease, as a means of preventing recurrent intestinal invagination and have performed it for the first time in an individual affected by this disease.
