Analyse des deux principales méthodes de décompresion gastrointestinale post-opératoire: l'Intubation gastrointestinale et la ga,strostomie temporaire.
La premiere e'st utile mais son efficacité est variable et peut provoquer éventuellement des complications si son application se prolonge.
La G.'I'. permet un drainage plus effectif, elle est mieux tolérée et cause moins de complications respiratoires surtout chez les enfants, les vieillards et les
malades dont l'état général est déficient ou qui souffrent d'affections respiratoires chroniques . Nous dénombrons les cas ou nous considérons qu'elle doit étre plus précisément préconsisée, tout en mettant l'accent sur ceux qui demandent une intubation postopératoire prolongés. Enfin nous précisons quelques détails technique et de conduite post-opératoires qui peuvent contribuer a éviter des complications.
