Description of a case of epidermoid cancer, the site
of which was a pulmonary lobe, presenting a vomico•
sed hydatid cyst operated fives years before. Based on
the exact topographic superposition of the two lesions
and the histological type of the tumor, in the author's
opinlon, the cancer orlginated in the neoplasic trans•
formation of the cavitary epithelium.
