Abstract

Splanchnicectomy is nowadays the surgical
procedure of election as palliative to pancreatic
origin pain,· it furthermore entails a minimally in vasive approach and is therefore less aggressive,
faster and ofers a better comfort rafe for patients
a/ready sufering deterioration due to basic
disease.
This paper is directed at the anatomic study of
formation pattens, branches of origin, anastomosis
and symmety of majar and minar sp/anchnics
in 30 sympathetic ganglia chains, in arder to confront
classic and moden anatomic aspects with
he diversiy of procedures descbed in peforming
his type of surgey as well as to enable popasal
of a technique that so/ves its more contovesia/
aspects.
