Abstract

The most appropriate operation for treatment
purportedly curative of a cancer patient
gastric, should allow the surgeon to check that:
1) The extent of said resection directly influences
in a longer long-term survival.
2) The type of operation directly influences
that secondary recurrent disease does not appear.
3) Mortality and morbidity of the intervention
adopted should not be of such magnitude that it results
prohibitive its realization.
